Slave Hack Rules Act (2006 - 2008)

Please remember this game is published for free and is open to all age groups.
Please read the whole article. If you do not understand a rule, you can send a message to a moderator asking him/her for an explanation of that rule. You can send a message to a moderator by using the "Contact the game staff" link in your Messages window.

We reserve the right to add/edit the rules as and when we see fit. All registered players using the Slave Hack gaming environment automatically accepts any changes to the rules. It's strongly recommended by Slave Hack staff that you read the rules regularly 1) in case of any changes, 2) to keep yourself familiar with the rules. Ignorance is not an acceptable excuse to break the rules.

Glossary
Forum - We speak of any and all the forums available in the Slave Hack gaming environment
Account - We refer to your Slave Hack player account, the account that you use to access the Slave Hack's game environment
Slave Hack staff - We speak of any person directly involved in helping the game, all Moderators, those designated by M2H, and M2H (Creator and Founder of www.Slave Hack.com)


Section 1 - NO REAL hacking
  • Do not hack/attack/damage any of the Slave Hack game servers and or chat.
  • Do not hack any of the Slave Hack player accounts
  • Serious action will be taken against real hack attempts and may result in court action.
  • If you believe such an offence is taking place, please report your claim to Slave Hack staff immediately. Under no circumstances should you investigate the claim yourself.
Section 2 - Game bugs
  • Never exploit a bug as this will give you an unfair advantage over other players.
  • Report any bugs you find to Slave Hack staff. Write a statement explaining the details of the bug and how you think it occurs/occurred.
Section 3 - No abusive behaviour
*Please note, staff will use their discretion for any behaviour relating to jokes.
  • Never act aggressive towards another player for any given reason whatsoever.
Section 4 - Player accounts
  • This game has a "one person has one account" ONLY rule.
  • Under no circumstances can you access another account for any given reason whatsoever.
  • You are held responsible for another person using your account with or without your permission. (Remember that Section 4a does not allow you to use and share an account)
  • Keep your account password secure. Do not give the password to another person.
Section 6 - Forum rules
*All age groups participate in Slave Hack's forum
  • You are only allowed to use the English language in the forum.
  • Use the correct topic-board for your post.
  • Do not spam the forum with pointless postings.
  • Do not post riddle spoilers and IP adresses, you are allowed to post edited versions.
  • Do not over advertise a post that you or another person has produced in either another forum post or in the chat room.
Section 7 - Harassing staff
  • Do not harass any members of the Slave Hack staff for any reason.
  • If you deliberately harass a member of staff, then you accept their chosen form of punishment should they decide not to ignore you.
Section 9 - Offenders and sentencing
  • If you break any section of the Slave Hack Rules Act (2006) where applicable, you will be subjected to punishment.
  • All punishment is determined at Slave Hack staff's discretion.
Section 10 - Repeat offenders and tougher sentencing
  • There will be less tolerance of rule breaking by prior offenders. If you continue to break rules then expect staff to give you harsher punishments.
  • If you continually violate the rules of Slave Hack, you may be permanently banned from the game, wich means you may never access Slave Hack again.
Section 11 - No external trading
  • You are not allowed to sell or trade your account and/or game items on eBay or using any other method.
Section 12 - Impersonation
  • Do not make an account name similar to that of another player especially staff members.
Section 13 - Bots & Similar Programs
  • You are not allowed to use a bot or any other similar program to control your account as this will give you an unfair advantage over Slave Hack's honest players.
  • You are not allowed to use any program which allows you to semi-play Slave Hack, i.e. leave the game to run by itself or any other program that can be deemed doing the same thing.
  • You are not allowed to rewrite the Slave Hack game's user interface.
Section 14 - Donations
  • Donations to Slave Hack should be done of free will, you should never be forced to donate. If someone forces you to donate report it to the Slave Hack staff.
  • If you donate to Slave Hack, use your own money/credit card. Only use someone else's money/credit card if he/she has given you aproval.
  • You will be punished for donating using the money of someone else without their approval. Fraudulent credit cards can be easily tracked.
  • All donations are considered final, there are no refunds.
Section 15 - Play at own risk
  • You play at your own risk: Slave Hack's staff can not be held responsible for any (real life) damage done.
  • You must watch your own health: Do not play too long !
Section 16 - Unfair advantages
  • You may not create unfair advantages; The major meaning of this rule is that you may not Slave accounts who don't bother you slave them. You may not slave accounnts of your friends, and you may not let friends slave your account so they become more powerfull.
Section 17 - "Social engineering"
  • Social engineering towards the SlaveHack staff or any persons related to the staff is not allowed, you will be punished in-game and may result in 'real life' action.
